The "Dev" Process

4 Phases To Your Custom Software Solutions...GREAT PROJECTS REQUIRE GREAT PLANNING.
Phase #1. Initial Consultation
At E5 Development our custom software solutions start off with comprehensive and flexible documentation. You will initially speak to a Project Manager who will learn your desires and goals for your business. She will also educate you in the ways of how development works. Together you will identify the challenges or issues in your system.

Once the two of you have discussed options and potential avenues to explore, your project manager will provide a complementary guesstimate of the time frame and cost of your solution requirements. This is a non–binding guesstimate marking the beginning of our development process.

Phase #2. Planning and Design
Your Project Manager will work with you to conjure up every possible objective, planning and organizing your solutions. There is power in good design, so we will work together to create your Custom Web Design and User-interface Design. Once completed, your Project Manager will work with your Lead Developer to refine the solution ideas you collaboratively devised.

Based on your budget, timeframe and technology choices, you will arrive at a plan of actions. You and your team will be constantly in contact with your Project Manager. You can submit questions and files, and give feedback through e-mail directly. We will document as much as we can and then provide a more detailed time and cost estimate. Then we are able to begin the customization of your software solutions.

Phase #3. Development
This is the stage where we "develop. publish. review. repeat". Now the fun starts: the application of the start of something big, new, and customized just for you where your dreams become reality. Based on your planning and design feedback, we begin building your custom solution. We will then shift into the adequate development process, in which we perform enterprising development of your solution for you to review and test.

Phase #4. Testing and Training
We then bring the finished custom solution online or allow access to view and utilize the corrections that have been performed. Now you can test–drive the performance. As we begin user allowance testing and debugging, you will play an essential role in identifying snags, and bugs in the publishable. As the project requires and progresses, we will continue to develop, review and tweak until completion. But like all works of art, your “piece” will never really be totally complete (as we could tweak a solution for eternity), however, we won’t stop until you are completely satisfied. We view software as a long term investment, so it's important to have the right level of quality control.

In our experience with development, administration training is often something that fails to be included. Our customized solutions always include training time. Take advantage of this insightful administration training session that we will conduct at your convenience either one-on-one or in a group. This is so that you will have quality assurance for your solution. Proper training helps ensure effective use of time among new application administrators who might otherwise be intimidated or overwhelmed.

Here at E5 Development, we bulid quality custom software solutions that use innovative I.T.  methodologies, increasing the benefits to our clients. After the program is launched, you can take over maintenance of the software/application if you wish. Preferably, we are delighted to remain available regularly to make changes according to your request. We provide the same exceptional customer service after the solution is deployed as we did during the development process.

E5 Development designs superior solutions for the long-term and our clients realize the benefits of this approach, resulting in many successful
long-term relationships.
